At my current job we have a great view of the Olympics. The best is when there are no clouds in the sky and the sun has come up enough to shine fully on the mountains, but not on any of the territorial view. It's like they are glowing. We havn't had that since the last cold snap we had a couple weeks ago.

I'm hoping to get a good picture of them before it's too late.

My new and improved view is the sound (Elliot Bay I think) about 200 yards form the water across the train tracks. I could see Mnt. Rainier today and the Olympics, and when I stood inthe right spot the Space Needle also. Not too shabby.

I have a light green wall about 6" behind my monitor.

That tallest peak you see in HABU's picture is, I believe, Mt. Constance.  The view from up there is pretty impressive too.  Getting there is a bitch, though.

Yup, just last weekend I got the perfect call for extra work with a day trip on an empty mixed freight up to Surrey followed by a day trip on an empty coal train from Roberts Bank back to Everett the next.

I absolutely love rolling through White Rock on a daylight or early evening trip. The Asian tourists are comical. The way they look at, react, and photograph freight trains when so up close and personal you'd think it was a UFO flying through town.

This is a pic of my most current office getting ready to be set in place...

Your cunning wit may have been unintentional, but it wasn't lost on all of us.

My office is a car... on days that I go into north or east Clark Co it's nice, on days I'm stuck in Vancouver it sucks.. those days, it seems I hit one shit hole apartment complex after another. For that matter, I can't even count how many times some moron has just about hit my car backing out of a space
