I have a question. I need to mix two liquids. The ratio is 40:1. If I have 1 gallon of the "40", how much of the "1" do I need? Think fast, you're being graded for time as well as accuracy.

Get a gallon of the "1" and 39 more gallons of the "40".  Divide that up into 40 containers, you should be good.

I think it is the amout of gas to oil you need in the crankcase of his VW (hippymobile) bus to make it run... to much oil in the crankcase will foul the plugs...
