I was in the Walmart w/ my gf about a week ago and did my usual browse through the sporting goods section to see if it's still open and selling guns / ammo.

I saw brand new Marlin mdl 60's in the circular / window display rack marked at $129.

I thought that was a pretty decent price for a NIB rimfire and wanted to pass the info on incase anyone was looking to nab one.

good price...I paid 170 for mine...about 15 years ago.
great rifles for the money...pretty accurate too.

My first gun was a 60, and I still have it. Cost me $99 and came with a scope and soft case from K-Mart

Damn, nice deal.

One fine day gents, we'll be sittin' around, rememberin' the good ol' days, when ya actually COULD buy a gun at Wal-Mart...........bettin' it ain't gonna last forever....
