I've been to the Arizona memorial several times and a Pearl Harbor Survivor private lunch meeting. I got a private tour of Ford Island with my Grandpa. As we drove around, all the Navy personnel saluted him, because his license plate said "Pearl Harbor Survivor 0006."
Grandpa could do anything he wanted to on that island.
