I got picked!

The first round is PT test followed by the written exams.  It's pushups, situps and 1.5 mile run.  Anyone know what the standards for the PT test are?  Has anyone gone through testing/exams?  What can I expect?

Skagit.

In the letter of acceptance the only standards they mentioned were Washington state something-or-other standards.  I cant remember exactly though, I'm posting from work and the letter is on my desk at home.

physical fitness program

jumping to conclusions,

flying off the handle,

beating around the bush,

running down the boss,

going around in circles,

dragging their feet,

dodging responsibility,

passing the buck,

climbing the ladder,

wading through paperwork,

pulling strings,

shooting the breeze,

throwing their weight around,

stretching the truth,

bending the rules,

pushing their luck,

shuffling papers,

and playing hide and seek.

For the CO testing I did a couple months ago it was 23 pushups(don't remember if there was a time limit), 18 situps in a minute, and 1.5 mile run in 16:17........IIRC

ETA: There are minimum scores to pass the exercise, but getting just the minimum in all 3 won't allow you to have a high enough overall score to pass.

Pushups was 15-23
situps were 12-18
run was 17:something

Do 23 pushups(easy)
18 situps(easy)
And quick walk half of your run and you'll pass

Is what you listed (23,18, 17min) the minumum?  I can do 40+ pushups, pass the situps and do the run in 13min, so if what you listed is the minimum then I'll do OK.

Sliding scale test, with points between 30-50, from minimum to max
4 Events
Minimum passing score 160
Pushups 21-35
Situps In 1 Minute (very important, time yourself)30-38
300 meter sprint 56-71 seconds
1.5 mile run 13:35-14:31

It's not that hard, but don't get complacent, you must pass the test the week before academy or you get canned.

15 was the min for pushups, 12 was the min for situps, 17 something was the min for the run. The other number are the maximums, They stop the test once you hit the max. Don't get more points for going over the max
