I am guessing that you are referring to the Green River Killings task force, and my guess would be because they still haven't found all the bodies yet......at least I don't think they have.

Probably because the task force can be pulled together as a group of people with a lot of training and experience. There is also no additional cost, so its a win win situation for public and departments.

So you are saying there is no budget for this anymore? We had what was called UNET(Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team) down here. They day the funding dried up, it was disbanded. The ole GRTF is getting together on their own now?
