You may find a kit at the gunshow then have a local ffl manufacturer build it on a registered receiver.

Or you can build one up yourself on a Tapco flat.

In any event, the AK guys at the gunshow will know what you want.

ETA: the barrel work will cost you a pretty penny or two.

BIY isn't very difficult. Easiest route is to get an AMD 65 kit and start asking around as to who has a press and rivetting jigs who's willing to help you out. Get a dremel, demil the thing, get a receiver, a pistol rear trunnion and a regular handguard and you're on your way.

Cheapest I have seen. It would be hard to build one for much less than this, after you buy the kit, receiver, a good trigger, have the barrel work done and buy a cheap build.

Since it is a pistol you an use the original trigger in it . 922r compliance parts are rifle specific only
