I'm in the Seattle area and I'm looking for a good refinishing job on a Sig P225. Is there anyone local that comes highly recommended? Quality, Price, Speed, in order of priority.

Preferably, I'm looking to have a custom color applied.

Also, while I'm at it... I'd like to get some handguards refinished. Same issues as above.

I think there are a couple yahoos up in Snohomish county that have a cure oven. I haven't inspected any of their work. I will let them volunteer their info in this thread if they wish.

If you've ever wanted to consider hardchrome as a finish...now would be the time to do it. Hardchrome is probably the most durable finsh available for guns....and in my opinion...the best place to send it to is TrippResearch down in Texas.  They have extremely fast turn-around and competitive prices. Virgil also has a finish called CobraCoat that I believe can be done in different colors...its not nearly as durable as hardchrome (what he calls CobraChrome) but I've heard good things about it.
