But if it had a CAR / M4 stock. . .

That brings up an interesting concept--a side-folding tele-stock.

It's supposed to have a CAR telestock.
I used the A1 stock because that's what I had.
I have a telestock on order, I didn't feel like pulling one of my AR's apart to get one.

The A1 stock is a CavArms C7, so I might just do some Dremel surgery on it, or I might not and mount and keep the telestock on it.

Without the scope it's really light.

As far as a side folder I think that a person with some metal working tools like a lathe and a welder could make or modify this unit to make it a side folder telestock.

No shit. . .

Just seeing that style of stock on a 10/22, I automatically thought it was a side-folder.

Nice! If you love it, that's what counts

I got tired of my 10/22 and pawned it off on stokes for a bolt/carrier

Dunno, but theres something so unexciting about a .22 rifle... wanted to trick it out, but it would still never get shot. Can, and do, shoot centerfire any time I want, just step off the porch and theres my range That, and I got the Henry for taking care of pests..

Will probably get another 10/22 when I become a poor student
