I'm very close to finally closing the sale on my Mother-in-Law's house we inherited in Oct.
Problem, The buyer wants the piers and posts replaced under one prtion of the house.
I'm having one hell of a time finding a Licensed and bonded contractor to do the job, as specified in the purchase agreement, otherwise I'd do it myself.

The house was built in 1917, and the foundation and structure is good, it's just a few posts sitting on rocks that have to be replaced with concrete piers and some other minor support issues, basically, a one day job.

The closing date is the 15th, and I'd very much like to make that deadline, without having to extend it.

Anybody know anyone who can help me out here?
