The wee hours of this morning found me in the ER with my second Gall Bladder attack in a week.

Blood tests, X-rays, prescriptions, more scheduled tests for ultrasound and some other pokes and probes. A diet of bland shit and no alcohol.

Well 5 out of 6 ain't bad.

Bunny I promise to be nice if you if you burn it...

Cav - I tried to call you from for some moral support but it just rang and rang.

Thanks for the offer but, the thing is once they pass, everything os all right. Just beat tired from spending 5 hours rolling around on the floor in pain and no sleep. I have a pretty good handle on what foods cause it. Although last night I had 6 pieces of very non-greasy(think garlic chicken in white sauce) pizza. So this is a new one on me.

The one that with out a doubt kicks my ass is brisket and I LOVE brisket.

The one I had last week was from a brisket sammich I had while having lunch with OdT.

These last 2 I have had have been mild (about 5-6 of 10 on the pain scale) compared to the one I had about 2 months ago. That was from a way over indulgence of sugar, it rated about 9+. It had me crawling across the floor trying to get to a pistol. It was by far the most pain I have ever dealt with in my years.

Well I have had about 7 of them in the last 15 months and this is the first time I have gone to a Dr. I am funny that way. The ER Dr kept wanting to know what I have done in the past, tests, exams, etc. He seemed a little surprised when I told him that I hadn't seen anyone about it. He kinda looked at my like TBD does with his head tilted a little.

All the nurses want to know how I knew it was my gallbladder... I said I got some friends on the internet you see...

1GR, it may be all good when the take it out, but you'r prolly gonna have to learn what to eat that wont send you to the throne within 5 minutes. Hopefully brisket will agree with you.

1GR tells the old and long story better, but the last time he was hospitalized for some 'so-called life threatening illness', when we were much younger, I kidnapped him early one morning for a killer clam tide. The docs and nurses flipped their wigs for my taking him out of there, but, as I see it.... I called their bluff, and won. He's still alive.
