The dog
or
The truck?

I need to buy some metal and por15 before I go any farther on the truck.
The dog is going into puppy obedience classes as soon as our refund check gets here.

I've been playing with the gun all night. I even got up the courage to take it apart. I think I got it back together right

So they are thieves? I knew there was a reason I did not shop there.

You must be a good talker through..

ETA. If that 1911 gets lonely you can leave it at my house I have one that will keep it company.

I met an Arfcommer there too, in fact he sold me the gun. We started talking about ARs, and I asked if he had used MEGA lowers before. He hadn't. I was telling him where to get them, and mentioned that it'd be easier to get on ar15.com and check out Iblis' ad. He said he was already on here. Trying to get him to come to the next shoot.

+1

I got one, good shooter right out of the box.

Only thing I changed on mine was pulling the plastic grips off and got Pachmyer wrap arounds. While I want some real woods, those fells really really good on it.

Midway has the 47D's on sale for $20.99 until 2/28. Seems to be about the lowest I ever see them sold for.

I wouldn't waste my money on Wilson mags....overpriced, plastic follower and open cuts in the sides that really lets the dirt in.

I've used nothing but CMC Shooting Star or Power Mags in my Springfield...they get dropped in the dirt and stepped on every week...I've had them now for about 8 years....no problems!-

Now you tell me....

I haven't had any problems with the Wilson Combat mags, and I got them at the fun show for the same price as the CMC 8 rd Classic Carbon Steel Magazine.

Of course I am not pumping anywhere near as many rounds as you are through my SA 1911.

I havent had any problems out of the USGI contract mags (James, 3/$21), but then again, see the part in red.

Nor am I walking on them in the dirt.

I just bought a khar arms 1911 last week and it runs great, looks more authentic and was $150.00 cheaper than the springfield, I have had a springer milspec in the past but decided to trick it out with all the bells and whisles then I went ahead and sold it, for more than I had in it
did the same thing with a rcok island armory that is my moms and she loves it.

I've tried using USGI contract mags before in a Colt that I own....they'd work for a while but eventually the feed lips would crack, typically at the back of the magazine.

It's been a LONG time since I've had to buy any CMC mags...but I seem to recall that CDNN had the best prices on the 8 round mags anywhere.  My 10 round mags are the older Shooting Star design....and they just keep running so I see no need to replace them.  The 10 round mags that CMC now produces are the Power-Mags which have a removable baseplate.   I've had one of my 10 round mags "fail" 2 years ago...the welds on the baseplate cracked.  Took it to a local welding shop and they TiG welded it for $5.00....better than new!
