I do need one. . .

It would round out this collection rather nicely:

Thanks.
It's a parts mixmaster, so I don't care about numbers and dates.
Load, aim, pull trigger, boom, hit target, that's all I care about.

This one has been wiped down with cosmoline and dunked in grease.
It's really thick.
I'll probably spend a couple days cleaning it up.

Doesn't AIMD have a hot tank you can use?

I am retired, and besides, it's illegal to bring a gun on base....

It's illegal to bring guns onto McChord? That's gay.  You can bring 'em onto Ft. Lewis.

I'm the one who "crossed into the other blue"--but only on weekends.

God knows what McChord's instruction is on that issue, but they do have a sign that says basically, "Thou shalt not. . ."

Naval bases get kinda weird about firearms too.  I think NAVSTA San Diego requires a police escort to / / from main gate & armory.

Errr...other than going to the Air Force exchange or an air show I would have no reason to go to McCord.

I live on Whidbey, and I am retired Navy, so the nearest base with an AIMD (Navy speak for Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department) is NAS Whidbey, and no, you can't take guns on board the base. You can check them with security at the top of the hill though before you go on base.

You Army guys can be trusted with weapons, on the other hand I figure that 98% of Navy squids would not know which end the bullet comes out of the gun....

I charge a flat 50.00 to rebarrel and headspace a garand (not including the cost of the brl), 65.00 to repark. I charge 110.0 for NM conditioning not including the cost of the rear sight elevation and windage knobs, hooded apature and NM front sight.

shouldn't this be in the EE?
