Was wandering through the show and didn't even notice the time until it was after 12:45, was sorry to miss lunch with everyone.

Didn't pick up much, but saw lots of goodies.  Did pick up some ammo for the Makarovs and the Tokarovs.  Also a new buffer tube for the collapsable stock, and a couple of Kershaw seconds (I seem to buy knives everytime I see that guy at the show, and still never have any knives.  Of course my kids, etc, have lots of knives. )

Next time lunch for sure.

Not much. Just missed a great deal on a FAL. Got two Hogue pistol grips (do I have ALL of them yet?), a phone charger for my kid, an "assault style" soft case for my kid for his Christmas Benelli and a can of cat turds rolled in kitty litter (locally known as Almond Roca). Hey, if I ever get a cat, that's what I'll call it! And, of course, a rollicking good time at ThereGoes'isFood.

That is GOOD ammo.  It is Mk262 Mod 1.  Yes, they are seconds, but Black Hills loads the Mk262 Mod 1 for the military.  I asked James about the seconds, and they just have a small ding in the side of the case here and there.  Absolutely nothing to worry about.  It won't affect accuracy, function or performance.  I would not hesitate to purchase and shoot those rounds.  I would have bought some except that I just got all the components to reload Mk262 Mod 1 (minus the cannelured bullets) myself.

Those rounds use the 77 grain Sierra Matchking, but Sierra put a cannelure on them for the military.  You cannot buy that bullet, as Sierra thinks a cannelure in a Matchking is sacriligious.  You will also notice the box says "5.56" and not "223 Remington" like all their other ammo.  It is loaded to mil-spec.

ETA:  I didn't buy shit at the show.  But I snagged a strobe from a surplus shop for $50, dropped $35 at Quantico Arms and spent a small fortune at Tactical Tailor ($415.)

Hey Gibby, they are custom fitting one of their new IBAs to MY IIIA armor panels and making it in XL out of multi-cam for me!  XL is one of the sizes they offer though....

I suppose its what youre used to. In NH we didnt have 2 shows/month...only one and none in the summer that were any good. So, two shows/month here is really exciting to me.

Yes, that PPS sure was spiffy. I thought $400 was a bit much but the cool factor was very high. I saw many guns Id like to take home but as usual my wallet just cant keep up w/ my eyes.

Man its not what I got, but I forgot to get!!!! Then late last night it dawned on me..... the SEBR does not have a rear site!!!!!  I have the EOTech and a Bushy handle coming, but that screws me for shotting today... and no I can't go all the way back to the fun show from where I am, its about 1 1/2 each way.... and ideas of what i can do... would GI Joes have a mount on rear site or does anyone know of a vendor that would be open on a Sunday, a shop near Mount Vernon!?!?

While everyone was scoring the deals, I ended up buying 20 Gen-1 Magpul followers for $40.  Of course I didn't know('til I read it on the board today) that, since the Gen-2s came out in December, they're obsolete.

Did get some nice goodies for my Glock, but only a 20rnd. mag for my AR.
