Hey there...  Anybody know of local army surplus stores in the Bremerton/Tacoma area?  I heard that "BALL" army surplus ammo is good stuff and quite cheap.  I'd like to not have to backtrack up north to Seattle to find a surplus if at all possible.

Is the price worth the half tank of gas to get there?

If you buy $1500 worth it saves you a bundle.

FWIW, IMO, there are no good prices on ammo anymore. The shit is high.

I think you will find the best orices you are going to find at the funshow.

No kidding.  I just bought a bunch of components to start reloading my own 223.  Sucks, but when I can build a 1000 rounds of 55 FMJ blasting ammo for $120 and 1 1/2 hours of time versus the $200/1000 at the funshow, it becomes worth it.

I'm also going to load up some Mk262 for about $325/1000 (including the brand new Winchester mil-spec 5.56 brass.)  Debating whether to get the cannelure tool or not for the Sierras......
