I have aquired two small kegs that were used for soda (scuba tank size). I spoke with the RAM restauraunt and the fill Kegs (Total Disorder Porter is one of my favs). Here are my questions:
1: What do I need to do to the Kegs to get them cleaned up and ready. 2: What else do I need to get them running, where would I get it? 3: Who's thirsty?

You most likely have Cornelius kegs, they will have one of two kinds of disconnects either pinlock or ball lock, with ball lock being the most common.
I'd start with some Beer Line Cleaner to clean those kegs out, find it at a home brewers supply. To dispense beer you are going to need a CO2 or nitrogen supply and a regulator (preferably dual gauge) as well as hoses and STAINLESS STEEL fittings, no copper or brass! on the beer side. www.cellar-homebrew.com/store/catalog/ www.homebrewheaven.com/ |
