Also you have an a bay named after the sweet Dungeness crab. Can't wait to see if 1GR is gonna bring a haul to LCR. I thought I'd make a crab meat salad the other day, but got sticker shock at the meat counter. $22 a lb!! |

The NW doesn't seem to be known for anything that compares to the SE for grits, biscuits and gravy, greens, etc. The NE for Buffalo wings, cheesesteaks, etc. The upper midwest for cheese curds and brats.
One thing that is noticeable to me though is that even common supermarkets have a very great variety of fine fresh breads and other things that you would have to go to a bakery for in other parts of country. And as suggested before, micro-brew.

 Those are siphons. Bivalves don't actually have sex. They just release eggs and sperm into the water where fertilization takes place. Geoducks also live in excess of 100 years. Yep, nothing like being a hundred and never having gotten laid.
