My cousin and I got together and made some fresh sausage yesterday. I've been making it for about 4-5 years and he wanted to learn. After grinding, mixing suet and spices here we go.   He bought a new 1HP grinder so we broke it in right.  Starting to shape up.  A good start.   25lbs of fresh brats, ready to twist into links.  and all finished, stuffed and vaccum packed, 25 lbs of Fresh Garlic Italian, 25 lbs of Freah Brats and 15 lbs of Fresh Polish, he learned real well and is ready to make more. |

As much as I like sausage, pictures of it being made have always just looked nasty to me. Especially the third and fourth pictures.

No, and I dont wanna know. I wanna know why you would wear a condom back then, there was no HIV, so anything you got you could get rid of. Except a kid. |

lol! I keep telling mine that unless they grow up and be very productive, generous and wealthy that they are poor investments. The daughter rolls her eyes a lot.

WOW a guy does some chores and takes a nap and all hell breaks loose,
but I don't think you guys could throw out a joke about it that I haven't heard or told, thats part of the fun of making it.I like chorizo but not made with the traditional  , that is exacly why I started making my own, I know exactly how many road killed dogs and cats go into my sausage.
