Whoo Hoo!
I've got a 7' folding table WRF, what'cha think about a taco-bar? Chopped tomatos, onions, lettuce, peppers, shredded cheeses, and taco shells with some of your fresh meat for a make-it-yourself buffet? Mumm, now I'm hungry. |
I was thinking burgers but your idea is better. WAY TO GO!! |
You didn't name the steer did you????? and don't worry about bring any fireball for me, January is just too damn cold for me to be outside, much less outside CAMPING! |
If turnout is big enough, we may need both of them. (you do realize that if we treat these people too well, they ain't never gonna want to leave LCR, right?) |
Wow, nice looking grill! Crab?!?
I'll grab the fixin's and bowls. Maybe a piece of meat to donate to that smoker! |
WRF has that well in hand |
How you going to toss your steak into the coals with that Gunrunner?
That's Friday night. |
I've got a 7 pound pork loin in my freezer. What can you whip up with that? |
Well I can make a hat, or a broach, or a pterodactyl... |
I don't know if I am more impressed with your talents with a 7 pound loin, or the fact that you can spell pterodactyl |
Does that mean you got a bear this year? |
Not me...neighbor did.. The only thing I have gotten this year is grouse... |
Yes I have had meat cooked in one, bring it on!!!! |
Well keep it then or make jerky out of it. The beef is yummy!!!! |
So if 50 people showed up, how much corn would we need?
By applying the 1GR planning factor, that works out to about 270 ears. |
Crab? You just might be my new best friend! |
I brought 2 dozen to last years shoot.
CRAB'S DONE!!! They are just delightful with a little Scrunbutter. |
Done as in no more, or Done as in you have it? Don't make me cry now..... Very few things are delightful with Scrunbutter by the way.... |
Why am I not suprised by this:
A) 1nutgummer has crabs or B)they're good with scrunbutter. bigscrun has slept in the loveshack............... |
NO CRAB FOR YOU!!! |
thank you! I do belive my wife would kill me if I suddenly came home from an LCR with crabs..............
..................country folk!.....HA!!! |
just bumpfire 4 mags before you go to bed--and sleep with your rifle |
Your joking, right? ME? BUMPFIRE? I just go to LCR to hang out with you super cool guys...I don't actually do much shooting at all, much less enough to even know how to begin to bumpfire!!!! |
Then tell Mr Kooter "you need him to keep you extra warm tonight".....then he will likely put on a mischievious smile......then he'll bumpfire 4 mags, hand you the rifle , and go play poker!!! |
Anybody have one of those big campfire pots that hang over the fire? Thinking Stew!!!!
We have a big dutch oven. |
Cool! One of my favorite parts of CAS is the chuck wagon's dutch oven line. Stews smell even better outside with some gunsmoke in the air. Those guys dig a ditch and fill it with coals. then lay down some grills and put the ovens on top. They refill the coals as needed. Yum. |
It's getting closer to january, O crap! I'll be a year older in January Anyway Lets keep the food list going. GOURMET LCR |
A full keg (and maybe more) of beer will be provided by me.
Crab will be consumed by me.....qty is tbd! |
