I got a permit to cut firewood in Capital forest. I am allowed 6 cords, but don't plan on taking that much. So who wants to help me go and cut some wood? I know Odt can swing an ax pretty good.......

You tell me when you are available. I make my own schedule, so I should be able to work around yours...

Sorry to hijack the topic but if anybody need firewood you are more than welcome to come and cut few trees on my property in Buckley. Mostly non-evergreen type. I need to do a lot of clearing here. I may need to get read of large pine too if you want it.

City person question:   How long does fresh cut wood have to season before it is tolerable to burn in a suburban fireplace?
