sorry cherry, never been. However, having met some of the ladies with their men, I'm thinking that most of the sexist talk is just in fun. The ones that are serious don't have women of their own (for obvious reasons). I'm thinking that the baking of cookies or the making of sammiches would be a nice gesture for the boys and a good ice-breaker into meeting them. Just tell them that no one can pass gas within 10 feet of the sammiches... you don't want to spoil the experience of your lovely cooking for others...

The cookies thing is MY fault. I did once for JAFO's birthday and then it was just kinda expected after that
 I have a good time when I go, lots of interesting conversation.......but lots of fun!!!!

All kidding aside, this will be my first LCR, but I have been to several Hometown get togethers and the members in this forum are in my opinion the best people I have met since moving to WA. It also helps to have a thick hide because they will also jump at the chance to tease the crap out of you ie.. Russian Mother In-Law Mini Pancakes Being late for a Breakfast that you called  Owning anything SAS Non shooting .50 Chevy being pulled from a ditch Never showing up to any HTF event etc..etc... Finally in any SHTF I'd love to have these folks on my side of the firing line.
