On August 12, my name was drawn at Evergreen Speedway for the Western Washington Racing Association Roadrunner 2005 Raffle Car. Funny thing is, I raced in the Evergreen Speedway Hertz Hornet division in the 2004 season. The #745 Hornet succumbed on July 4, 2004 in spectacular fashion by rolling upside-down on the first lap of the heat race on the 1/5-mile oval. The old car was a 1988 Ford Escort LX with a 1.9L SOHC and an automatic transaxle. The new one is a 1993 Ford Escort GT with a 1.8L DOHC and a 5-speed transaxle.

Fridaynight geek...
 I ran a Bomber in the 90's, pit'd a International Prostock, and now run on the Rescue crew for the big races.. Btw: your old car looks better.

I wouldn't say that you "won" necessarily, more like someone dumped their heap in your yard instead of having to pay salvage fees.....
