A friend bought a townhouse near Greenlake (it has a great view of I-5) not even two years ago, the next door townhouse (the other one in the set) just sold for almost 50% more than my friends cost. |

Depending on which "end" of West Seattle you are aiming for, you may love it or hate it.
The further south you go, the closer you are to crime problems. The old old homes are rapidly increasing in value as some minor gentrification takes place. |

it rains all the time
the economy is terrible the traffic sucks it rains all the time liberal run the state seattle is too close to enumclaw it rains all the time taxes are out of control gas is sky high it rains all the time ETA, dammit, you're a local
