What: IPSC style shooting (i.e. not sanding in one place shooting at one target)
Where: Rattlesnake Mt shooting complex.  How: as fast and accurately as you can. How much: For none members (of TCSA) $5 |

And Wombat, I figured out how to take the handguards off the ak (I had to look online though), now to attack it with the grinder. |

What time and what are the caliber restrictions on the carbines? I'm interested.

The exact time is still up for debate possibly 9 or 10 in the morning or we could do it in the afternoon.
The caliber restrictions are set by federal and state law at one half inch; although pistol calibers and .223 are more practical.

I think I might be interested in this. How much ammo should I bring? I've never shot IPSC before, so I'm not familiar with how it works.

This is not an IPSC match just a fun shoot. I would bring at lest 100 rounds and three magazines per gun but it would be best to bring more than that. (Having to stop shooting because you are out of ammo sucks!)

Not at all. I'm over at Ft. Lewis. But I know where the tri-cities area is at. I didn't notice till last night, however, that it was over in tri-cities (even though it's in the topic title). So I'm not sure I'd be able to make it, anyway. Trans, and all.

I'd suggest in the am with the 100 degree temps we've been having. 223 and pistol sounds good to me. I can't run with my 50, and least not very far right now. Keep us posted as to times. Thanks, Mark

The shoot went great; lots of people willing to share their toy’s so you could try out many different setups. There were several different kinds of targets including steel pepper poppers and swingers that moved really fast. We even had one lady that made it out and would love to have more.
I will setup another shoot, hopefully next month. Oh and short barrels make it nice for shooting/moving around barricades.

I had a great time and really enjoyed the moving targets. Count me in for next time. Maybe we'll see some more fun toys at the next one. Big thanks to Wombat!

wish I could have been there. sounds like a blast.
wombat - are SBR's legal in washington? last I checked they werent, hopefully im wrong cause I got an AR 15 pistol that id like to make an SBR. |

SBR's that were registered before 1994 when they were banned in the state are legal which sucks for us younger guys
