Bowlby's Sporting Goods
129 S. 3rd St. Yakima, WA 98901 Corner of 3rd ST and Walnut Ave (an old fire station). 509-248-8281 M-F 10am-6pm For some reason, for pistols, they like to have the local Sheriff do the background check even if you have a CPP Update 6/17/2004 Their transfer fee went up to $25.00. The reason is, everyone else is in town is 1) not doing transfers since they are "ticked" one did not buy from them, so they won't do transfers 2)ticked you bought out of town so they'll charge you $50.00 or more. So, I guess they wanted to take advantage of everyone elses price increase by going up a little.... Yakima is suck a "fun" place |

Bob and Jay Ward
Bear Arms Kent, WA www.beararms.com Good guys. $25.00 for transfers but will only do FFL to FFL for liability insurance reasons... I can't blame the guy. -DH |

Pawnbrokers Northwest
253-588-1752 $15 transfers. Best part is that you don't even need to go see him until the gun arrives. Just call him up with the name and address of the shop, and he'll mail them the FFL. When the gun arrives, he'll call you. You come in, fill out the 4473, pay him $15 cash, and wait for NICS to say go. This is about as easy as it gets! |

I use Adventure Sports on Highway 99 in Edmonds. Great guys, and usually a nice selection. Not a lot of black rifles, but they are very helpfull with transfers. I have found some good Enfields there. 23329 Highway 99 Edmonds, WA 98026 (425) 771-3877 Cheers, Chris |

Yeah this place is great!!! I live about a block away. Their transfers are $35 each, but these guys are really great guys. If any of you go there make sure to talk to Jim, the resident Black Rifle man. (Tell him that Kadar sent you, he'll get a kick out of it and charge you more for anything you buy ) Seriously, these guys are some really swell fellas. |

Puget Sound Security in Marysville,
The owner and most of the guys who work there are pretty cool. I have had a problem with one new employee who's clueless and makes shit up rather then finding the correct info for me. They charge $20 flat and seem to be happy to do transfers from either FFLs or individuals. Up the road at Arlington Rec. Shooting it's $30 and they would rather ya buy outta the case. PSS 1068 State Ave. Marysville WA 98270 360 659 5945 Was just in PSS today and saw they up'd the transfer fee to $30 (06-28-03) |

Another NW Pawnbrokers, Tacoma....EZ as it comes!
[OT]These guys are the most pro RKBA group I have ever seen (read REAL COOL!) I bought a gun from them, they NICS'ed me. ' I wrote/they read-'Race-American' Nics girl-'unacceptable, Black or White' Them-'uh, American." They argued my position out to them for me, aggressively. They refused to accept a pending for our refusal to change my answer. They asked for a suupervisor, talked him through it, and got my approval on the spot. I had only been here for a year or two, and I had been on pending since the move. Since that call, and their stauch position, I have been approved on the spot. It cant be said enough, these guys REALLY do rock! |

Decided they are not worth it anymore, since the owner said we dont like those rifles

www.grumpysgunrepair.com/
Chuck has the biz at his home in Granite Fallls. Nice knowledgeable guy. FNFAL buildup guy. I think it was 35 bucks per transfer but that was a while aago. Been broke. Railgun.... |

McDaniels in Snohomish will do the transfer for $25+NICS, but don't expect any REAL knowledge about AR15's or other black guns, They are more of a hunting/sport oriented dept. in the hardware store. Janice(dept. head) isn't all that up too speed on alot of stuff... just the basics, watch out for the scrathing the chin with the "hhmm... I don't know about" or the slight condecending attitude from her being there for 14 years. Other than that... a good local place. Lotsa ammo to choose from. Prices are abit on the medium to high side Ask for Neil or Frank to help you with black gun stuff. They know more than Janice does about them.
Anywho.... McDaniel's has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, you'll get asked by every employee that walks by you if you need help, unlike the larger hardware stores. ~D~ SNS |

To be honest, I don't know any dealers who can hold a candle compared to wealth of black rifle knowlege available here at AR15.com. Anymore I just go to gun dealers to buy stuff, not seek advice. I've heard too much BS at gun stores in the past. While she may not have an in-depth knowledge of our little niche in the world of firearms, I've found Janice (or is it Jeanice?) to have always been helpful and accomodating of me in the past and willing to negotiate some on the price of in stock firearms. Great place to do transfers. McDaniel's has never really been a place to window shop for military pattern firearms, though. The few that they have, usually on consignment, are way overpriced. If Da_banned_one thought Santahat-Ralph had an SP10 overpriced at $1500, he'd probably have a stroke at the sight one hanging on the wall at McDaniel's for a mere $2500. Fortunately, most of the other guns they have in stock are far more reasonably priced.
I also like the idea of spending my money to help local businesses. Look for a phone call some day, Devin. |

Let's try to keep this thread limited to posts of FFL's for transfer who aren't already listed here rather than discussion of FFL's already listed.
