Okay, I know you guys aren't Oregonians, but you're pretty darn close.  If any of you are running in or watching part of the Hood to Coast run, be sure to cheer your brothers on.

I'm running with some friends in my church, and I'm running legs 7, 19, and 31.  That means I'll start the race in Sandy.  My other legs are just west of Saint Helens and somewhere in the Coast Range.

Hopefullly some of you guys are running, too.

It's a 197 mile relay, but each runner only runs between 14 and 17 miles, so it's not even as bad as a marathon (except the terrain's a lot harsher, usually).

Anywho, I leave for the race in about two hours, so you guys have fun up there.

Anyway, here's how I did.  Not great, but not too bad, either:

Leg 7, 5.65 miles, rated "Hard":  47m24s, average pace 8:23 per mile.
Leg 19, 5.7 miles, rated "Very Hard":  51m38s, average pace 9:04 per mile.
Leg 31, 4.1 miles, rated "Moderate":  30m27s, average pace 7:26 per mile.

Overall:  15.45 miles, 2h9m29s, average pace 8:23 per mile.


In my opinion, the final leg was the hardest, the middle "Very Hard" leg was the easiest.
