What a crappy show!...I went in willing to spend up to Two Thousand dollars today.

What did I see, a FAL for $950.00 with a crappy paint job, not willing to drop the price at all!

A G-3 sporter, $1300.00 same guy with the FAL, not willing to drop the price at all.

I went in looking for a M1a pre-ban, found a nice looking Fed Ord. with all G.I. parts $850.00....He would not take a check, I did not even ask him to lower the price.

most tables had nothing but junk, and way over priced junk if that.

When I goto a Gun show, I dont want to see tables with stuffed animals, there was a section of 6 tables with nothing but computer shit. Another table of nothing but Sewing stuff. Another with gems.....WTF! AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly wish I did not renew for this year! 5 years as a WAC member  and Im tired of shit!..

I know that it is not WAC's fault, they have to pay the rent, but If this is what the Monroe show is going to produce, then maybe they should just stick to Puyallup.

Even James Ammo stuff was not that great, It if the first time I did not dump money into his business. (sorry james, you are one of the good guys, Im just pissed at this point)

I did want to spend some money on Mag's with NWRed but I forgot to stop back after the M1a deal ( I was kinda bummed by then)

I decided to ask one of the guys that I know real well what the deal was with all of the guys at the show not wanting to deal, His reply..." It is the Christmas show,no need to drop the price, there are lots of suckers paying the asking price." I hope that is really true.

Now just so you all know Im not a negative guy, Something good!

The little blond gal that I paid for my membership for next year was wearing a nylon basketball/sweat suit, and was sitting in a bar stool with her legs spread and feet together, looking FINE!...I was really turned on by that!(sorry no camra's allowed at the wac shows)

I wish that I did not renew for this year, I know the Puyallup show is better, but the Monroe show is my local show, and I for the most part work weekends for to run down there is a big pain in the a$$.

At this point, I don't even want a M1a, Im tired of WAC. It is going to be CMP/Private party for me from now on!

C-ya at next months show

Next year, I might renew my Ammunition Dealer License.
I'll also be selling AccuJack's, Dildo's and Porn Videos...you know...to 'fit in' at the Monroe show!

Heh I was gonna say the show sucked for me too til I counted my gross this evening. Wasnt bad actually, but I'm on the verge of just keeping all my Surefire stuff and mags for myself an letting my WAC membership lapse for good this time. Too much bullshit with the club on top of the shows sucking as a vendor. The deals are so few and far between for the most part at the shows that it isnt worthwhile to be there as a buyer either. As for the guy with the Fed Ord R32, I was talking to him later about accepting checks, not knowing it was you who had tried to buy it, and he said he should have taken a check from a WAC member but wasnt thinking about it at the time. His loss I guess. Shoot me an email this week regarding M1A stuff/shooting.

I think I know what is going on here..."WIFE DIVERSION"...and it actually worked out pretty good for me! I actually brought my wife down to the show (and that was not easy to do - but we had Christmas shopping to do...bla, bla, bla you know the routine)...and she got sucked into the jewelry tables in about 30 seconds flat.

And SHE was the one warning me not to spend $ on more gun stuff I don’t need!

I encouraged her to buy anything she wanted (and she did)...this made my ammo & gun case  purchase go over much smoother than it would of been if I had returned solo with a trunk full of "gun stuff".

I think one or two "wife traps" are not too bad of a thing...as long as it does not get out of hand. This is the only the 2nd Monroe show I have been to, and it seems to have had more junk than the first.

I hope it does not turn into a Avon Catalog convention,  with a few guns inbetween the perfume displays!!!!!

I do(Wife got stuck on overtime this morning and had all the cash)...and to this day I have never had a credit card, and until 6 months ago, I have not had a bank account (except when I was in the military) I used to do all cash all the time, Now that the State says that I HAVE TO DO DIRECT DEPOSIT..I have a check book. Some people say that you cant do anything without credit, well my credit is awesome, I have two nice trucks (well one is a chevy, but it is still nice) and a house. No probs....

anyway... I wish he would have taken my check, At this point, the best "deal" I have ever gotten was at puyallup, (and a upper I got from a guy that would accept checks) ...Monroe is a Ammo only type of place anymore.

NWRed, I want to pick up some of those SA80 mags.

Hey 1GR, have you ever seen any pigs on the Olympic pen?

This weekend was the first WAC show I have missed in a long time.  Puyallup is definately better than Monroe but I like to go browsing there anyway.  I usually pick up my ammo there because I can park close to the door by James' table to make loading easier.  It's a pain to haul a bunch of ammo all the way to the parking lot in Puyallup!

I'm thinking this weekends show may have been a little lamer because they just had a show two weeks ago.

Don't know about that far north.  The stories about the pigs in and around Montesano and the Wynoochie were made up.  I would ne willing to bet the same up there.

PS. take cash next time.

Actually I never heard the rumors about Montesano but the stories about pigs on the Penninsula were true, but overblown.

There are/were pigs up there.  The fellow that supplies fishing bait to just about everybody in Washington is a pal of mine and he saw 2 in the back of a fellas truck on the Pen..

I don't know if they were really those supposed Russian pigs that was the conjecture or just some pigs that got loose and went ferile (apparently that doesn't take but 2 years for tusks and all) and started their own population.
