Okay, I'm at Tapco looking at their Imbel Kits. At the bottom of their description, it says "If you live in Washington state, we will remove the ejector block and disconnector."

WTF??

Why would they have to remove these? I know a bit about firearms laws here, no Class III, etc.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

All machine guns, short-barreled shotguns, or short-barreled rifles, or any part designed and intended solely and exclusively for use in a machine gun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, or in converting a weapon into a machine gun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, illegally held or illegally possessed are hereby declared to be contraband, and it shall be the duty of all peace officers, and/or any officer or member of the armed forces of the United States or the state of Washington, to seize said machine gun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, or parts thereof, wherever and whenever found.

Well that law was going to read:

"Machineguns are baad MMMKay.  Can't have machineguns because they are baad, MMMKay!"

But the lawyers recommended against it.

We should repeal the no machinegun laws in this state and have a total recall of all the schmucks in office that support it.  Anyone want to be governor?

Here is my platform and plan to bring the State to higher level:

Eliminate all Taxes (except as follows)
Eliminate all Fees (no exceptions)

Institute a 20% flat income for citizens (NO COPORATE TAXES) tax that will be split as follows:
50% operating budget, 50% to endowment
year 2 19% flat tax rate split as follows:
50% operating budget + 50% of interest on endowment, 50% added to previous years endowment.  The tax rate bottoms out at 5%.  Anyone mentioning spending out of the is guilty of a capitol crime with no appeals.

Services only go to citizens or legal aliens.

Review all RCW’s to make sure they are purely constitutional!
