bear season opens in 2 days, who is going? i have always wanted to hunt bear, and cougar. anyone here tried it and killed one? unfortunately i have to wait a couple months before i can buy a resident hunting license.

I may. I dont get out much, but my brother is a Jeep freak, so we could go out in the TJ on the weekends. My dad has a .375 thats a shitload of fun.

Never hunted bear but I do enjoy bear meat.  A friend of mine got one once and gave me a bunch of bear sausage.  Mmmm, Mmmm, good!
