How many of us have the capability to go out our back door and shoot to 500 yards?
Well, I am in the process of setting up my own range.
It has been slow going with all that life has been throwing at me.
So far the only thing I have done is that it's all staked out, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 yard markers are there.
My neighbor has a very old dozer that I have free use of. But I will still need to rent a backhoe for a weekend to fine tune the dirt backstops.
How many folks are in or around the Spokane area? Do you have any connections to someone for a reduced rate for a backhoe, preferably with the exenda-hoe bucket?
Thank in advance, RedMan*

That sounds great. I'd be willing to bet that once you have things set up a bit, and need to do some manual fine-tuning with picks and shovels, you would be able to find some volunteers here for a work party :)

Yes, what JAFO said.  And he makes one heck of a supervisor!

Seriously though, that sounds awsome.  I could get use of a backhoe but Spokane is a tad bit far away from Ravensdale.  Keep us inforemed on how it is going. Maybe post some pics of your progress.  And yes, maybe some of us could come help out when it come time to finish it up and of course, do some test firing as well!
