Hello all,

I need your help finding my father-in-law.  On Sunday night he left home to watch the end of the Suns/Mavericks game at one of the VFWs or American Legion posts in Philly.  He goes around to various ones, so we are not sure which he was trying to go to.  We don't even know if he made it to a post, yet.

He had left his phone on the counter, so we do not even have that.  The family has been in contact with the PD, been canvassing the VFWs and American Legions to see if anyone saw him.  Hospitals have been contacted.  

Included below is a list of tasks and questions that we are working through right now (with some details filled in); as well as the PD missing persons page and our flyer.  

He is a 74 year old Navy vet and 30+ year plumber in the city of Philadelphia.  His wife is distraught and his son and daughter (my SO for over 10 years) are doing all they can in Philly while I am working from SC for right now with our daughter.

He is not a dementia or alzheimer's patient, he has never disappeared before, and there has not been any indication of anything stressful or worse.  No indications that anything was amiss.

I am asking to make this a sticky @The_Beer_Slayer @Bama-Shooter @DK-Prof for a while, so as many people as possible can see and forward information to anyone they might know in that area; Philly, Camden, Trenton, Valley Forge, etc.

The Philadelphia Police Department needs the public’s assistance in locating 74-year-old Missing Person Luzerne McAllister. He was last seen at his home on the 4xx block E.Gorgas Lane on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 8:30 pm.
He is 5’8”, 130 lbs., and was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and blue jeans. Luzerne may possibly in the area of Chew/Chelten and also frequents the Veteran’s Post located on the 20xx block of 33rd St.
Anyone with any information on Luzerne’s whereabouts is asked to please contact Northwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3153 or 911.

1: Which VFW / American Legion Post and did he ever arrive?

2: Any vehicle tracking electronics via GPS, or SiriusXM, etc?

3: What time departed house? (~8:30 PM)

4: Typical route going to each possible location and search it.

5: What time game ended, any other games he might have stayed for all or part of? (~10:30 or 11pm Suns/Mavericks)

6: Usually leave right away or stay and chat? (Could be either, depending on who was at the post)

7: Typical route returning from each possible location and search it.

8: Usual time home for this type of event?

9: Any specific people mentioned that he planned to meet with or looked forward to seeing? (None mentioned prior to leaving)

10: Once the correct VFW or Legion post is found, who was there at VFW/Legion (Names and numbers) and what time did they see him arrive and leave?

11: Any routine stops on the way home (lotto, beer, etc.)?

12: Any discussion of events coming up that needed a stop or might have encouraged a detour or stop? (Birthday, graduation, holiday?)

13: Security cameras enroute: personal, business, government?  How to get videos from that timeframe?
Ring doorbells etc on peoples houses.  Start with immediate neighbors to get initial direction.Expand from there.

-City traffic cameras? (especially near the house to get initial direction)
-Parking violations?
-Toll booth cameras?

22. Any activity on bank accounts, debit cards, ATM cards, credit cards since Sunday night?
