Just found out the gun show at Oaks is this weekend 17th to 19th.  I normally go to shows on Saturdays but l don't think I will be able to shake loose.  Are Friday afternoons worth bothering?  What percentage of vendors are realistically set up on Fridays?  I'm just going to window-shop, would LOVE to come up on an old Savage 22/410 but that kind of thing is typically more mom and pop.  

Worth the schlep out there for an hour and a half or so, prob 530 till 7 when they close after getting out of work?

Did you end up going? Would love your report.  I havent had luck there in years.

A buddy called me back a few months ago from the 1500 table show. Asked if I was coming down to the show, he was already there.

Told me don't waste my time, and he was not thrilled with the show.

Said mostly clothing, video and junk. More flea market type crap than gun dealers.

It is a 2.5hr drive to get there from our area. Glad I did not go, would have been total waste of time.
