There is one I use that is on the Elk and Camron county line. It is up in the Elk state forest off of State route 555. It is in an area called Hicks Run. It has picnic tables, fire rings, and outhouses. It is free to camp there all you need is to get on the states DCNR web site and find the phone number to call and get a camping permit. It sits right next to where two nice trout streams come together. Also if you go this time of year you can hear the Elk bugle from your camp site. Here is the number to call for a permit 814-486-3353. Here is a link to the Elk state forest map. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/ucmprd1/groups/public/documents/document/D_000878.pdf. Give it a try it is really nice.

Cherry Run in ANF is a pretty nice, popular free spot as well.

If your coming from Tionesta on 666, go past Minister Creek, hang a right on 948 and it's about 2.5 miles on your left on Cherry Run Rd.
