Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How Do I Get A Copy of a PA Birth Certificate?

Hi Guys!

I am applying for a deputy sheriff position and I need a copy of my birth certificate.  I was born in Pittsburgh and I don't even know the county.  My mother lives in Grove City...when I asked her she said I would have to contact some state agency in Harrisburg.  Does anyone know what that agency would be or have a link to it?  Any help is much appreciated in advance.

i know the form is available online.  Pittsburgh is Allegheny county.   I have to send for them all the time at my job.
