Got a call back on a CV from Carlisle, PA.

Don't know much about the area, other than what I can find via a quick search on the internet.

You can go ask over hereRallypoint.org I know a couple of the guys live in Carlisle. I was there 20+ years ago so my info may not be current.

its decent,im in carlisle about 2-3 times a week.
what info are you looking for? i live about 20mi from town.

Asked more to get a feel for Cost of Living, ease of getting to major cities nearby, outdoor activities, etc.

Basically a good place to live? Any major complaints?

Carlisle is a small city, and beware of school taxes if you are buying. Some school districts are less money hungry than others.

There are several gun clubs in the area, and a Game Lands ragne outside of town. I-81 runs long the southern borough limits, easy transportation.
