If you are in and around the PGh area, there is a gun show at the Monroeville Expo Mart on March 25th, 26th.  If this was already posted, sorry...I have my active topics set to the last 72 hours.

Thanks for the times.

Are there a lot of ammo and pistols for sale there, or is it more of a junk sale like most local gun shows I go to?

IT's a good show.  Lots of guns for sale, a wide variety, with most of the common service pistols available at very competitive prices.

Ammo selection is ok...but not super-great.  Some of the ammo types I couldn't find were:

Black hills remfg.
Anything in .45 GAP...in fact, a lot of the hillbillies there hadn't heard of it.
Federal HST.

So, if you ammo tastes are pretty normal, however, you should have not problem.

I will be there around 10 ish...need to find some new dies and some WWII memorabilia to go along with all the guns I inherited this past year.  I like the show...there is a guy there that sells mainly AR parts and other swag...hope to see some AR15.com members there!

There were some good deals to be had.
I got 2 magpul stocks from Pen defence for 125 each. and picked up a case of xm193pd for 140 although I think the guy undercharged me

Also there was a vender that had several ACOG TA31RCO's for 980.

The dark side crowd would have been happy as there were AKs everywhere. Seems like Automatics are back in as there were plenty of ARs, AKs, M1 carbines, Garands and M1As, and plenty of dealers selling parts for said weapons.

not to bad of a show.

Taxes next month.  I live close to the Expo but have purposefully not gone.  I can't afford to buy anything right now. :(

Hmmm not real sure. I got there at about noon and there was just one PD unit there. Nothing seemed out of whack. I did purchase my first suppressor though. So it was a good day for me.

Ahhh if I would only read properly I would see that you were talking about saturday.

Saturday AM I was checking out stuff on one of the tables when 2 Monroeville PD officers came up to the dealer and told him they were "shutting him down".  I couldn't hear the entire conversation but I did notice that they started checking serial numbers on his guns.

Got over there Saturday about 1pm.....I agree there was a plethera of AK's and AR's to be had....both built and in kit form.

Only saw two receivers...both OOW's and a premium at $99.00 ea.

Still no 7.62X39 ammo avaliable.....maybe summer.

Threee PKM kits at the show.....$1,999.00 and no recievers avalaible yet.

Had to pick up an AK FCG from the Tapco guy....had money in hand and left with it.  A few nice Garands this show and one IHC postage stamp for $800.

Ran into Ron and Joe..couple guys I built Polish underfolders for....said they been out shooting the barrels out of em and love them....glad you like em guys!

Alway nice to stop by the NRA booth and talk to them folks...real friendly and just good folks.

See ya'll in May
