Trying to find "ANY" type of experianced gunsmith is hard but trying to find one that does work on the "evil" AK will be harder.

The trigger group is really easy. I am certain that you can do it yourself. As for the threading of the barrel and slant break, You better check the legallity of these items. You will need to be 922 compliant. Remember: THE BAN on AK'S did NOT END. |

Thanks but yes I know. Doing all this to be 922r legal. May try the trigger, etc by myself but not the barrel. Figured whoever is doing the barrel can do all.

Try Paul Eichenberg 610-269-0870. He is in West Chester. Very good all-round professional gunsmith. Also, his prices are reasonable.

+1. Works out of his basement, but he's a PA Gunsmithing School Grad and has been doing it for many moons. I'd guess that he'd be able to do a bbl. thread no problem. |
