Thanks for the gun show info.  Strange, if I check the link without logging in it just takes me to the main AR15.com page.  If I check when I'm logged in it works fine.

Heard an add on 610 WIP radio...$8.00. Are they fucking crazy? Knob Creek is only $10..00, and there is much more to see. This is the type of shit that's gonna put an end to gun shows.

no way dude, ill pay 20.00 to get in the show.  8.00 bucks??  what the hell can you do for 8.00 bucks anymore anyway. can barely buy a pack of smokes for that.  its more than a bargain.

Are you upset that gas is 2 bucks a gallon?  Not me,  prices go up and you have to deal with it.  We all need to support the gunshows if we want to keep our sport, my passion.  8 bucks is nothing.  Think of it this way, its like going to a museum both modern and antique.  I would gladly pay more if I had to just to feel the "rush" when I walk into the door at VF, Harrisburg and even the little crappy Appalacian shows.  Rant over.

$8 is a lot less than the shipping i'd pay for 4500 rounds of ammo.

I will be in attendance on Saturday.

Hopefully it's a good one . Last one was pretty lousy . Ammo prices always good but no real good gun deals or mags. Hopefully the dealers finally figured out the ban on Hi-Caps is over.

Don't waste your time.........prices are comparable to most gunshops in the area, or higher, and ammostore.com doesn't even know what the hell kind of .223 they're selling as NATO milsurp. (It's Hirtenberger according to the headstamp, but there's no NATO marking on it at all....doesn't keep them from asking an arm and a leg for it though)

FYI, ammo table near the front left has a ton of XM193 ($96/$178, 500/1000) and Q3131A ($179 if I recall correctly.)

I actually bought some Hirtenberger from them to use as practice ammo in my 2 day carbine course (since ammunition store was selling wolf .223 for $130 and change making the Hirtenberger only $20 more expensive).  All the stuff has varied year (2000 and up) LC brass, it's magnetic, so it's probably an SS109 bullet, not m193 like the guy said.  I don't really care since it's all going downrange in the course of 2 days.  Dispite the fact that i purchaced 6K rounds of assorted ammo for the class in cash, the guy wouldn't budge on prices (though they were decent anyway).  I would have bought some XM193 if i had any money left over after stocking up on ammo for the 5 days of tactical shooting classes i have coming up in april.

Overall i didn't see anything else that interested me there.  Maybe i'm actually to the point where i have enough guns?  Nah.

Didn't see much that interested me. Picked up a heavy buffer and an M16 bolt & carrier.
Oh yeah. I bought another Reising Model 50; excellent condition, with a three digit serial number, from Dennis Todd.

I was pretty disappointed too.  Way too crowded and no one had anything that I was looking for.  I did get to see some of the stuff that Troy Industries makes-very nice.  There were a couple of guys from MD towards the front near a guy selling Airsoft & Blackhawk Industries stuff that had a couple of carbines tricked out with a bunch of Troy stuff.

You'd think with the popularity here of the pistol caliber uppers that someone would be selling them.  The only ones I saw were SBR ones (Dennis Todd had a DoE upper for $1500).  Saw a few M16s - if only I had an extra $10,000 that I didn't know what to do with.

I think think LAME sums up this weekend's show.
Sounds like dissapointmant all around.

There weren't as many dealers as the show in December.
...and what was there, seemed like inventory leftovers.

The only purchase I made was a can of pepper spray for my wife.

Yeah I got a Czech VZ24 and some 8mm ammo.

Nice shape working on getting the dark bore cleaned up.

Other than that crappy ass show.

I came home with a S&W 686 7 shot 5" Hi Vis... I'm a happy man. Now off to Pinnacle High Performance to get it cut for moon clips. I can feel my ICORE times coming down already.

I just came back from the show and I bought a Glock 21 mag (13rds) for $20, and didn't see anything I really needed.  I saw the TROY table at the front of the show that I usually pass, and they had the TROY flip-up sights.  I got the rear sight (already have the front) and a friend bought a set too.  The TROY lowers look pretty slick with the HK-type selector markings.  I checked out Dennis Todd's table as well, and he is crazy on some of his prices.  A two-piece 9mm buffer was like $90 and a Colt M-16 bolt carrier assembly was $200!

Thought it was LAME also. Hope Harrisburg show is better this coming weekend.

$525 cash. The 4 inch and 6 inch 7 shots with the fixed red ramp can both be had for less (as you know), but I wanted the 5 inch tube with the front Hi Vis and rear V notch sights specifically for ICORE. I'm moving up from a 4 inch red ramp 6 shot.

+1

everyone complaining about this stuff being too expensive got too used to the currency of 40 years ago. Guns and gunshows cost us just as much as they ever have, it's the value of the dollar that's going down.

is the Valley Forge show worth the drive from long island? (shit shows up here in NY, very few black rifle tables, prices aren't terrible though).

If I was making the trip from longuyland I'd go straight to Harrisburg. The Valley Forge show is good, Harrisburg is better.

Idid ok. I finally got a Beta Mag. Not the best price but from a dealer I can trust. My thumbs love me for getting an AK LULA. Also got 3 AR-15 30rd mags.
