Hey guys, does anyone know of a trustworthy transmission shop in or around the Mesa area.  It's for a 2016 Chevy 1500.

More than likely your torque converter went bad and killed the trans. Did you ever change the filter and fluid ? The trans should be serviced/ new fluid and filter  every 50000 or 60000 miles. Check all the wrecking yards for a good low mileage trans. Most shops do patch jobs not a 100% rebuild. Almost any mechanic can install one.   Lots of great mechanics can install a trans ,but few can do a real rebuild. These are very complicated transmissions ,not a turbo350 .
