Work is moving me from Tucson up to Scottsdale, and I'm looking for a nice place to park the RV for a month or 2.  Anyone here know someone with a decent place where my stuff won't get stolen?

Don't suppose you're over 55?

The retirement homes will be clearing out, and there will be tons of spots there.

If not... there's a KOA in Apache Junction that doesn't look like it's in a horrible area. And KOA's are usually fairly safe. Kindof a hike from Scottsdale, though.

You could also look at moving places periodically and staying somewhere that won't let you stay the whole time, like county parks.

I don't know which all have availability, but Usery regional park does.

You might also want to look in Mesa if you can't find anything in Scottsdale.

It's only 25-35 min depending on where in Scottsdale you're going.

I ended up reserving a place at Ft McDowell for a month.  We'll see how it goes.  Still relatively close but not down on RV row between Mesa and Apache Junction.  I don't mind the isolation.

I looked into Usery, but it seems they don't have sewage hookups.

If Ft McDowell doesn't work out, you might consider parking your RV at Ben Avery Shooting Facility.  They have RV facilities there.
