Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any recommendations on a shop that does high-end car restorations?

My buddy has a 1970 Mach1 Mustang that he wants restored but also modified a bit. Money isn't that much of an issue for him so I'm asking for shops that do high-end work. I know Phoenix has alot more car culture than Vegas does so that's why I'm asking here.

I plan to stop by Kindig-it on Friday.  Word is they would not "commission a build" without a $1M+ budget. There are also some conditions they set when they do one.  I swear I saw them mentioned in this thread, but can't find it now.

Hot Rods by Dean is a damn good suggestion. I have toured their facility several times.

There are several top builders in PHX that are Good-guys sponsors, so you may want check out their website and magazine.  We usually go on a shop tour each year of these places.
