Jan brewer just posted this on her faceook.

<h6 data-ft="{'type':'msg'}" class="uiStreamMessage">"A
victory today for Arizona and 25 other states against Obamacare! A
Florida court ruled in favor of State's rights today.  Specifically that
the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable - making
the entire act void.  The case centered around our federalist system,
the Constitutional role of the federal government and State's rights.  I
attached the opinion for you."

And she attached this to it

Can this be the truth, did we really dodge the bullet?

No, we haven't dodged anything. It will continue up the chain to the Supreme Court, and will get settled there. That will likely take one or two more years.

This might not be the final decision but a few in the W column as the case works its way up the later to the US Supreme Court doesn't hurt.

my state reps and jan brewers office have both told me that the state will not comply with new spending mandates and will aggressively defend our state from healthcare mandates in the law if it stands to the point of flat out refusal to comply at every level.

The only thing the state can't protect us from is the IRS though.
