Any ideas of what to do in early October in Tucson. I think the wife and I are coming out that way to visit Kitt observatory and I was wondering if anyone had other things to do or could recommend a nice place to stay for around 150-200 a night.

Check out the Desert Museum if you are going out to Kitt Peak. While you are here you should try Eegees and Lucky Wishbone.

Check out the JW Marriot Starr Pass. It is a nice hotel, depending on the dates you are here you might be able to get in there for $200/night. again depends on the dates could be upwards of $300 depending...

Are you going to have a car while here? Live near the mountains at home? If not it might be worth a drive up mnt lemon.... very beautiful.
