He was banned in one of the great AZ bannings. If I remember right he was reinstated and just hasn't come back.

Let's see if I can make that one.  Is tannerite also welcome at the range?

I haven't been shooting in a year.   I wonder if the guns still work

Called Parks and Rec today. Since the remodeling of the range, they don't reserve it anymore. It's 1st come 1st serve. She also restated that .50 cal's and Tannerite were NOT allowed.. I left a message for her because she was in a meeting all day and she returned my call on her way home and I didn't hear the phone ring in the laundry room. (Wife is a slave driver!)

I will try to call her again tomorrow and find out more about making reservations..

I've had my .50 down there 4 or 5 times now and never had any problems. The only sign up says "No Explosives".  Doesn't say anything about .50s.

Bigger than .50 makes it a Destructive Device.

EXPENSIVE, for sure, but definitely not illegal.

BTW that's a 20MM, which works out to .78 caliber.

$12000 + $200 to Uncle Sam.

I know its considered a DD and all NFA rules apply......I was just giving him shit.

By the way, I was seriously considering getting the single shot Anzio takedown rifle in 20mm.....that is until I realized how expensive it was to buy a house.

I just had a weird phone call.  It sorta relates to the shoot.

I ordered a Beta-C mag for the MP5 and one for the M16.  Did it online last weekend.  I was just thinking this morning I never got an email reply or anything and maybe I better check to see if they got the order.

Well, my phone rings.  A machine is on the line from UPS informing me of a package from the Beta Company is being delivered tomorrow and I have to be here to sign.

You know, I really like living in this day and age.

I'll see if I can figure these things out for the Dec 30 shoot.

Rent-a-can used to be the cheapest until they changed ownership. Let them know you want it for the day and to be delivered at 7am. They can come get it around 1pm. You'll have to pay the driver when he drops it off for the full day.

Then, when you give your safety talk in the morning and throughout the day, let them know you're taking donations. We used to give extra donations to Parks and Rec for letting us reserve the place, but that program no longer exists. So, screw them! I say donate it to one of the great causes here on the board or one you are passionate about.
