Introduction to Practical Multi-Gun Shooting Class @ Cav Arms

This Class is intended for people who have never shot a match before at all!

I think this will be easier for a lot of people than showing up at the range, not knowing what to expect. We want to have you prepared to shoot a match before you get there.

Range Safety Rules
Range Commands and Procedures
Scoring
Equipment Divisions
Preparing to Shoot a Match
Mindset and Skill Building

We’ll also watch some videos from matches, and go over what it is like to shoot the various matches held in Arizona and Around the Country.

What we will not teach in this class are skills…this class is meant to prepare you to go to a match, know what the rules are, what equipment you will need to start shooting.

This class is FREE! We consider this a public service to the shooting community, we want more people actively involved in the shooting sports.

We have had a pretty good turn out the last few times we have done this, so if you are contenplating it,  call and get your name put on the list.  Just an FYI, Russel and I teach this class almost every month, we usually have drinks/chips and sometimes pizza,  we do this to get more people into the sport we love to shoot.  If you are hesitant because you dont have the uber super pimp AR or the $1000 benelli,  stop worrying about that and come out and shoot what you have.  We have had people shoot M1 Garands and 5 shot 870's before,   Its about having fun and being safe.  Hope to see some new faces there this friday.

yes I did...there was a shell stuck in the chamber, so I did a "combat rack" to attempt clearing it.  The stock I was using (not one we manufactured by the way), disintegrated into quite a few pieces.  It wasn't a fun time, but figuring out what gear works and what doesn't is one of the more useful aspects of shooting competitively.

come out and shoot and you will see all kinds of interesting problems and how people solve them (or try to).

its a combination of being from chicago and spending 11 years in the military that makes me curse so much.  Not to mention flashbacks of desert storm   LOL
