Mexican place?  East Valley?  Change of pace?!

HUH?!  Change of pace would be more like Greek or Korean food.

BTW, the answer is the joint on the SE corner of Guadalupe and Priest.

If you're looking for delicious chow try ELMER'S in Chandler (on AZ Avenue).

If you're looking for a nice sit down environment skip ELMERS!

If you want awesome Ceviche, try the place mentioned above in Guadalupe.
It scalled San Diego bay and they are a Mexican seafood restaurant.

If you want burritos etc. I like Espo's at McClintock and Chandler Blvd.

... You mean the place Warren speaks of?

... If so, don't understand why we haven't crossed paths more often!

... I know exactly where you're referring to (tucked into the corner of that Mercado) and have gone there for the ceviche alone. Excellent, tasty, huge servings. One of the few places I can practice my Spanish without getting angry.

... Yeah mindtrix, Tia Rosa's is a work-a-day favorite for entertaining out of town'ers. For me, it's like going to the cafeteria for lunch

los dos malinos,  just north of broadway on alma school   its a little place and its sure spicy.

That would be Los Dos Molinos. The one on Central waaaaaaaaaay south (same owners) IS the best New Mexican food in the valley.

Try Dos Gardunos on Val Vista and Juniper just south of Guadalupe.  It's owned by a Chandler PD guy.  We've been there a couple of times and love it.

+1.

Just don't look in the kitchen too much....

Great place, and I'm really happy with it, is La Casa Blanca in Chandler. McQueen and Riggs just north on the east side of the road. Worth the drive, nice atmosphere, great food. Not pricey. Sit-down place where you can talk to someone...and never seen anyone in there who can't hold their liquor.

+1 for Elmers in Chandler. Definitely not a sit down place, but some of the best damn food around (even have great burgers believe it or not) Me and my crew at work usually go there about once a set for lunch.

Another great fast food mexican place is Amados (fili-b's rich cousin) at McClintock and Quad and they're opening another one at Alma and Guad.
