A Mesa teenager missing since last Friday was located in California Thursday morning and is reported safe.
Miya Lue Lillie, 19, was found at a motel in Union City, Calif., in the San Francisco Bay area.
Mesa police Sgt. Chuck Trapani said Lillie was reportedly in good condition and Mesa police are staying in contact with Union City law enforcement officials to get more details.
It was unclear whether Lillie contacted the police or if they located her. Trapani appeared on CBS' Early Show this morning to discuss the case in front of a national audience.
Lillie hadn't contacted her family in almost a week. She was last seen Friday evening at TGI Friday's restaurant in the Fiesta Mall in Mesa with a couple who had approached her earlier in the day about a modeling job.
The couple reportedly offered Lillie $300 to $400 to model for them. Other women in the area have reported similar encounters with a couple offering modeling jobs, according to the Mesa Police Department.
Police had no word Thursday morning about the couple, who were described as a tall, thin Black male and a Hispanic female.
Once reports of Lillie's case became public, Mesa police received calls from about 30 families who said a couple had also approached their daughters in malls around the Valley about a modeling proposition.
