Relaxing in the Tonto National Forest, after a brisk swim, I heard something behind me.  I grabbed my camera and began taking as many pictures as I could.  We only see these wild horses a couple times a year, if we get lucky.  And to see the herd this large was priceless.

We call him “Indian Joe”.  His first herd had one mare over 10 years ago.

I think she has about 100 pic's of Apaches, including the Long Bow.
