Which range?  I'd like to go even if I don't shoot.

Whereabouts is that?  Never heard of it and I've lived here all my life.

Damn I need to get out more...

<Sigh>

If this were 1967 that'd be a really easy drive.  Maybe I'll not be lazy for once and drive way the hell over there anyway, just to watch and take some pictures.  How long is the match scheduled to last?

Do you have an 870 I could borrow?  I can bring my own ammo, but the only shotgun I have is an Ithaca Model 37 with 28" barrel.  Do they run the shooters through the stages before they shoot?

Cool, I'll most likely be there then.  Is there a fee like the $9 Rio Salado charges?  I need to know how much cash I should bring.

One more question if I may.

What distances can I expect to need to engage targets at and what type of targets will be used for the rifle portion of the match?

Thanks!

I'll be there.  I'm going to try and get there by 8:00 just so I can check things out a little.  Hope to see some more ARFCOMMERS there.

The course is all set up and waiting. This will be my first match besides doing bolwing pins a few times. Really hope my AR is sighted to where I think it is. One rifle stage has fairly small targets to it. Lots of steel and very targets that require taping up. Should be fast stages.

I ended up not shooting. I way wasn't confident that my AR was dialed in good enough for the first rifle stage. The long range stage it should have been ok on. I shoot mostly a steel IDPA target when desert shooting. Went mainly to check out gear and get ideas on what optics are working. I was the one who showed up around 840 in the sandrail. Have to assume you were the one in woodland bdus and boonie hat. Ended up leaving there and running a few hundred rounds thru my 9mm AR instead
