R&D for the mossberg 590/500 version is already under way (hope to have at least some prototypes done by SHOT Show)...

As for the 1300 I'm just exploring some different ideas to see if they are feasible.

I was hoping I would be able to make an adapter plate for the 870 unit that would make it fit on the 1300, but this is not feasible.

So I will only be doing a SST adapter for the 1300 (or any other shotgun than the Remington or Mossberg) if I have a dealer/distributor commit to a minimum order of 50 with half the money down, parts to be delivered within 8-12 weeks.

It's tempting to go the rhoute some companies do and use individual pre-orders to fund R&D...but one thing I have learned in this business is that when you sell product you don't have (even when people know you don't have it yet) no one ends up being very happy.
